Out the Window

The northern part of Greece has such a breathtaking countryside. When we’re driving from one place to another, it’s all I can do to keep from hanging out of the window to get a better picture. In the picture below, you can just make out the mountains in the distance across the great expanse of the Anatolian Fault.

Around each bend of the mountainous country is a surprise. I love riding with Parker because he’ll randomly shout out with glee when he sees something new, like, “SHEEP!”

or, “DONKEY!”

Then when we get back to the house, we’ll look through my pictures to see if I actually got anything good. Thankfully, 9 times out of 10, there’s something in the mix worth keeping. For that one picture, I’m always glad that I snapped away like a camera-happy fool.
